Written by well-known author and PMP, Hans Thamhain, the proposed book¬†is designed as a both a professional reference and textbook, providing management practitioners and students of project management with the latest concepts and tools for leading technology-oriented projects effectively. It will set forth the guiding principles for managing today’s technology-based projects, extending the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)¬†and providing a practical framework for integrating the various managerial dimensions, with an enterprise perspective, in four major areas: (1) Strategic alignment of projects with the enterprise; (2) the process of project management and its organizational support systems; (3) the available tools and techniques of project management; (4) people and team leadership within the project organization.
